Christians from several campaigning groups will come together to run a cafe as part of Climate Camp 2008 outside Kingsnorth Power station in Kent in August, helping to keep it fed and watered.

At midday today (Thursday) Christians will go to No.10 Downing Street to protest against the Government's recent announcement to build a new generation of nuclear power plants. will present the Prime Minister with a solar powered torch and a sample of insulation material.

British Christians concerned with the environment will be invited to put their commitments where their convictions are next weekend, at a conference to be held at Lancaster University Chaplaincy Centre.
