As part of its ongoing work on Remembrance, peacemaking and the investment of churches and civil society groups in alternatives to armed conflict, Ekklesia was delighted to sponsor a conversation on 12 November 2014 looking the justification of war alongside opposition to war, violence and nonviolence in the Christian tradition.
Ekklesia is please to be supporting the British tour of Professor Tom and Rebecca Yoder Neufeld, which continues in Scotland next week (2-6 November 2014).
With support from Ekklesia and other partners, the Anabaptist Network and the Mennonite Trust in Britain are coordinating the visit to the UK of Canadian Mennonites, Tom and Rebecca Yoder Neufeld.
The Mennonite Trust and the Anabaptist Network, partners of Ekklesia in the Anabaptist Network of Organisations, are holding a day workshop on Saturday 18 January 2014 on the theme of 'multi-voiced church'.
The Anabaptist Network and the Mennonite Trust, both partners of Ekklesia, have organised a day on Saturday 30 November 2013, entitled 'The Essentials of a Radical Faith'.
A further meeting of the Anabaptist Theology Forum (England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and some friends from mainland Europe) has been scheduled for Tuesday 3 December from 11am through to Wednesday 4 December at 2pm.
