Religion off the radar

'Bartholomew's Notes on Religion' is undoubtedly one of the top-rank online resources on religious issues, especially those off the mainstream radar.

It does a particularly good job of tracking the strange machinations of fundamentalist groups, the religious right and others trying to influence the public agenda from strange places. If you don't know it, go to: http://barthsnotes.wordpress.com/ [1] The sections on Publications and Resources are well worth looking at, as well as the rolling news.

Richard Bartholomew moved the site from its long-standing home on Salon.com to Wordpress in March 2008. The archives go back to February 2004. And the 'Barthsnotes' URL is a good little pun, too... for those familiar with Swiss theologians.
